On-site roastery and neighborhood cafe in Bucharest

Showreel

Scroll-driven story sections give way to fixed menu, map, and contact where the visit becomes actionable.

1

primary conversion: visit the cafe, not the cart

Beanz roasts small lots in-house and serves at the bar in Bucharest’s Filaret area. We shaped the site around one conversion: the visit. Story sections carry motion and color; menu, hours, map, and phone stay legible and still. The shop lists four retail bags with origin and price, pickup in-store, no cart.

Problem

Specialty coffee sites repeat the same warm browns, stock latte art, and copy about craft and passion. Motion lands on the wrong layers: animated heroes where visitors need hours, prices, and a map.

Approach

We prioritized the walk-in over retail. Motion and color carry the brand story; conversion surfaces (menu with inline prices, embedded map, tap-to-call) stay static. Oat-and-ink palette, asymmetric cards, mono type for hours and lot codes. Romanian copy throughout, short and direct.

Outcome

A site with the specificity of a real address: rotating origins, fixed hours, four named SKUs. Expressive in the story, operational where it counts: a neighborhood cafe online, not a coffee theme.
